Danny Caudill

Danny represents clients in a variety of matters, including commercial contract disputes, severance reviews, severance negotiations, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, employment law claims, and civil rights matters.
Danny has been a business and employment attorney in a variety of settings for the past 17 years. He is currently admitted to the state bars in New York, California, and Ohio, as well as several federal district and appellate courts. A highly skilled trial lawyer, Danny has litigated numerous commercial law cases involving contract disputes, fraud, tortious interference and trade-secret theft. On the employment law front, Danny has litigated cases under nearly every significant federal employment statute. One interesting twist to Danny’s practice is that, because he is both a trial lawyer and former Homicide Detective, he has been sought out and retained by companies and other law firms to conduct independent investigations of suspected workplace harassment and misconduct.
In addition to litigation, Danny has extensive experience drafting a variety of complex contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work and non-disclosure agreements – particularly in the information technology and transportation sectors. He also regularly drafts employee handbooks, policies and employment agreements, and helps human resources personnel navigate difficult employee separations.
Before becoming an attorney, Danny spent eight years in the Army National Guard/Army Reserves, and ten years with the Columbus Police Department.
Danny received his J.D. from Capital University Law School where he served on the Capital University Law Review.
